But what is Kangen water?

In pure and simple terms, Kangen water is nothing more than alkaline water. That’s it! It’s a term used by Enagic to describe their water and to differentiate themselves in the marketplace.

Every manufacturer of water ionizers call their water alkaline water with the exception of Enagic and their Kangen water. But there really is not much difference with regards to the type of water it creates.

I have heard from many individuals who say that it is because Enagic sells their products through a Multi-Level Marketing program with many layers of payouts.

The benefits of Kangen water are really no different than alkaline water made by another high quality ionizer. The higher ph water is what produces the healthy alkaline water and the health benefits that people are looking for. It also creates a -ORP (Oxidative Reduction Potential), or antioxidant properties in the water, just like other water ionizers.

The real difference is the cost. When you compare it to the Genesis Platinum water ionizer at $1695.00 or the Chanson Miracle Max water ionizer at $1,995.00 you can see that the Enagic seems very overpriced. Enagic claims that the plates are the most expensive part of the unit but all 3 have 7 plates.

When it comes right down to it there really is no difference between Kangen Water and alkaline water, except the price. However, if you want an opportunity to make money selling water ionizers then Enagic may be what you are looking for. After all, Kangen Water is healthy for you. But if you are a consumer and just want to provide healthy water for your family then why spend $4000 for a water ionizer when you can spend less than $2000 for a water ionizer that is just as good if not better.
